... our success story began where it is still being written today – in Sindelfingen, Germany? In 1934, BITZER started as a small workshop next to the private home of our company founder – Martin Bitzer – in the street "Am Feger", in what is now the town centre.

History

The BITZER success story began 90 years ago: in 1934, the Swabian inventor Martin Bitzer laid the foundations in a small workshop in Sindelfingen, Germany. Did you know that in the beginning he did not manufacture compressors, but thermostatic expansion valves made of steel? However, production quickly grew and compressors became our core business. Today, with 75 locations in 40 countries and more than 4,300 employees, BITZER has long been a global player that sets international standards in the forward-looking refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump technology sector.

At Advansor, we value long-term relationships with both customers, suppliers, and employees. The cooperation between Advansor and Bitzer started when Advansor was founded in 2006. Together we aim to develop and implement the best solutions – like re-usable load carriers for sustainable freight without using any packaging materials, consignment stock for high availability, and new technologies like cylinder unloading technology to ensure better part load regulation and energy efficiency. Now we have extensively tested the new 8-cylinder compressors and we are sure it will provide great value to our customers allowing more capacity on a single frame. Our origins are important to us at BITZER – even more important to us is shaping the future of our customers, partners and colleagues. Their challenges are ours. Energy-efficient refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump systems are not only a pressing issue for the industry, but also for us. That is why we stand for #morethanacompressor. We not only have compressors in our portfolio, but also components that complement the compressors so that they can be operated even more efficiently.
We also stand for #greencompetence. We pass on our knowledge and expertise. Personal consultation and dialogue with our customers and partners in conjunction with seminars and training courses are our top priority at BITZER – for example when it comes to refrigerants of the future. At BITZER, we have been offering products with natural refrigerants for heat pumps, air conditioning or food production and sales since the 1980s and are constantly developing them further.
