Replacing the oil filter

The qualification and competence of the qualified staff must correspond to the local regulations and guidelines.

Depressurise the compressor!
Wear safety goggles!
Place oil drain pan under oil filter connection
- Oil drain pan
Loosen screws at oil filter cover
(Ratchet wrench with) 10 mm hexagon socket screw spanner
Loosen oil filter cover
- Plastic hammer
- 2 angle hexagon socket screw spanner or a suction pad
Remove oil filter cover
Remove old gasket from oil filter cover
NOTICE
Carfully remove old gasket!
Do not damage/scratch sealing surface!

- Screwdriver
Clean housing around oil filter cover
- Rags or cloths
Remove old oil filter from cover
- Oil filter wrench with fabric strap
- Oil drain pan
Remove old o-ring
- Screwdriver
Clean oil filter cover
- Rags or cloths
Lubricate gasket of new oil filter
- Refrigeration compressor oil suitable for the system
Position new gasket
Lubricate new o-ring
- Refrigeration compressor oil suitable for the system
Position new o-ring
Lubricate gasket of new oil filter
- Refrigeration compressor oil suitable for the system
Attach oil filter to cover
Mount oil filter
Attach oil filter cover
- (Ratchet wrench with) 10 mm hexagon socket screw spanner
Fasten screws at oil filter cover
NOTICE
Risk of damage to the component.
Risk of damage to the component.
Tighten screws crosswise in at least 2 steps to the prescribed tightening torque.
- (Ratchet wrench with) 10 mm hexagon socket screw spanner
- Torque spanner
- Tightening torque: 125 Nm
