Climate World 2020: with BITZER for sustainable refrigeration and air conditioning technology

Sindelfingen/Moscow, 21.02.2020. The refrigeration and air conditioning technology specialist BITZER also raises the bar with new solutions and products at this year’s Climate World in Moscow. Anyone who’s interested can come and see for themselves from 10 to 13 March 2020 at Stand 2A2701 in Pavilion 2, Hall 1, at the Expocentre.

Based in Sindelfingen, the long-standing company has been developing refrigeration and air conditioning components known for their sustainability, reliability and planning security for decades. A few highlights will also be on display at this year’s Climate World in Moscow: the proven ECOLINE+ reciprocating compressor series for transcritical CO₂ applications with the IQ module and VARISTEP mechanical capacity control as well as an ORBIT tandem solution. BITZER will also present a new version of its HS screw compressor series – the HS95 with impressive efficiency in full- and part-load. Also to be seen at the stand: the CSVH compact screw compressor series, specially developed for speed controlled operation.

Reciprocating compressors: energy-efficient and future-proof

ECOLINE+, the latest series of reciprocating compressor from BITZER, is also available for transcritical CO₂ applications and the optimum solution for use in systems with high energy efficiency requirements. One highlight of the ECOLINE+ series is the line start permanent magnet motors which deliver double the efficiency advantage with their increased motor efficiency and lower heat input into the refrigerant. With this motor technology, the compressors achieve a seasonal energy performance ratio (SEPR) of up to 14% higher. BITZER will also present the 6DTEU-40LK model at Climate World which boasts higher compressor availability and can control the VARISTEP mechanical capacity control optimally thanks to its IQ module.

Scroll compressors: exceptional flexibility thanks to diverse compound systems

With regard to scroll compressors, visitors to the trade fair will be able to see a tandem solution consisting of an ORBIT 6 and an ORBIT 8 scroll compressor. Operation is directly on the power supply system or with an external frequency inverter and thus ensures outstanding energy efficiency in part- and full-load. All ORBIT series can be flexibly combined in diverse tandem- and trio-configurations with the aid of BITZER Advanced Header Technology (BAHT). As a result, a reliable oil management of the compressor compound is also ensured. BITZER ORBIT scroll compressors are optimised for R410A and also approved for low-GWP refrigerants of the category A2L (R454B, R452B, R32). So planning security for users is ensured.

HS95: optimised efficiency in full- and part-load

BITZER will also bring along the new and larger models of the proven BITZER HS screw compressors to Climate World. The HS95 provides significant efficiency increases in motor and mechanics and enables a previously unattained level of system efficiency in full- and part-load operation. The semi-hermetic HS95 screw compressors are designed for a wide range of applications, such as refrigeration and air conditioning systems, heat pumps and also marine applications, and offer volume flows of up to 1,015 m³/h (50 Hz) per compressor. Parallel systems, for example with four compressors, can easily achieve volume flows of 4,060 m³/h.

CSVH compact screw compressor: combined intelligence

The intelligent speed controlled CSVH series is a unique innovation in the area of compact screw compressors. The particularly powerful frequency-controlled compressors boast a volume flow of up to 1,206 m³/h (50/60 Hz) and are optimised for air cooled air conditioning systems, process coolers and heat pumps. With the integration of frequency inverter and IQ function in the compressor, the CSVH offers a new degree of compactness and user-friendliness. The series is ideal for systems with high part-load and meets the most stringent requirements in terms of seasonal efficiency. The CSVH can be operated with many refrigerants, including HFO and HFO/HFC mixtures with low GWP value, and provides users with a high level of planning security.
