BITZER opens an office in Ukraine

Kyiv/Sindelfingen, 14 August 2017. The long-standing German company BITZER, the world’s largest independent manufacturer of refrigeration compressors, is bolstering its commitment in Ukraine and eastern Europe.
BITZER’s new representative office in Ukraine opened its doors on 10 August. BITZER compressors already hold a large share of the Ukrainian refrigeration and air conditioning market, and the company believes in its prospects for growth. The compressor specialist will now serve all of the countries in the region from Kyiv, having moved even closer to customers and users alike. For its customers and users, the new office means even more concentrated service for the market with compressors and spare parts made in Germany in BITZER quality, more personal support, assistance with maintenance and repairs and opportunities for advanced training.
Closer to customers and users
Gianni Parlanti, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, attended the opening on behalf of the BITZER management: ‘Ukraine is a very important market for BITZER. We have built up a large market share and earned a lot of trust by working closely with our local partners in the past. We are certain that the Ukrainian economy and, in turn, the refrigeration and air conditioning market still have a lot of potential. Therefore, we want to grow throughout the region from our base in Kyiv and strengthen our business relationships through personal contact with users.’

Organisationally, the BITZER office in Kyiv is affiliated with BITZER Austria in Graz and receives all of the support it needs from there. ‘Our new representative office in Ukraine is of great significance to BITZER in Europe because it is our first direct presence in the region. Our staff at this office will serve not only the Ukrainian market, but also Azerbaijan, Georgia and the entire region,’ says Michael Eichberger, Managing Director of BITZER Austria. ‘This is how we aim to consolidate and expand our excellent market position together with our partners.
