A change in management at BITZER Refrigeration Asia
Sindelfingen/Singapore, 23 June, 2016. Luca Bernini and Ang Chin Leong will be taking over management of BITZER Refrigeration Asia on 1 July.
Up until now, Robert de Bruyn has been Managing Director of BITZER Refrigeration Asia Pte. Ltd. and BITZER India Pte. Ltd. For personal reasons, he is returning to Australia, where he will continue to act as a consultant on key projects carried out by BITZER Australia. BITZER management would like to thank him for his tireless dedication and loyalty over the years.
As Robert de Bruyn’s successors, Luca Bernini and Ang Chin Leong will take over the management of BITZER Refrigeration Asia at the beginning of July. From their office in Singapore, they will also be responsible for PT BITZER Compressors Indonesia and BITZER Malaysia as well as for the representative offices in Thailand and Vietnam for their respective tasks.
As the Managing Director of Sales and Marketing, Luca Bernini will be responsible for the South East Asia region, whilst Ang Chin Leong will assume the position of Director of Finance for both BITZER Refrigeration Asia and BITZER India. He will also be in charge of local human resources and IT decisions.
In India, Harvinder Bhatia will assume the position of Managing Director of Sales and Marketing at BITZER India, located in Mumbai. From there, he will look after the Indian business customers directly, so that Luca Bernini and Ang Chin Leong can dedicate themselves entirely to the business partners in South East Asia. With this step, BITZER is further expanding its local presence in the key growing markets of Asia and in India.
Thinking globally; acting locally: as the world’s largest independent manufacturer of refrigeration compressors, BITZER is optimising its strategic focus in this world region of Asia. Through the structural changes mentioned above, compressor specialist BITZER will be even closer to its customers.
