Suitable protection devices
The devices SE-B* as well as the compressor module CM-RC are suitable for operation of reciprocating compressors with frequency inverter.
Risk of electric shock!
Before working on the terminal box, module housing and electrical lines: Switch off the main switch and secure it against being switched on again!
Close the terminal box and the module housing before switching on again!
Protection devices SE-B*
See Technical Information CT-120.
Potential failure of the compressor protection device and the motor due to improper connection and/or faulty operation!
The terminals M1-M2 or T1-T2 on the compressor and B1-B2 on the protection device as well as its two sensor cables must not come into contact with the control voltage or operating voltage!
Compressor module CM-RC-01
See Technical Information KT-230. For mounting the CM-RC-01 add-on kit, see also:

The compressor module may be damaged or fail!
Never apply any voltage to the terminals of CN7 to CN12 – not even for test purposes!
The voltage applied to the terminals of CN13 must not exceed 10 V!
The voltage applied to terminal 3 of CN14 must not exceed 24 V! Do no apply voltage to the other terminals!
Never apply voltage to the voltage outputs, not even for testing.

- KT-242: Technical Information Extension board CM-IO-B for CM-RC-02
- KT-243: Technical Information Extension board CM-IO-C for CM-RC-02
The compressor module may be damaged or fail!
Never apply any voltage to the terminals of CN1 to CN6, CN11, CN12 and CN23 to CN28 – not even for test purposes!
The voltage applied to terminals 1 and 2 of CN23 must not exceed 10 V!
The voltage applied to terminal 3 of CN1 must not exceed 24 V! Do no apply voltage to the other terminals!
For a safe and reliable operation, the Best Software includes a special "Frequency inverter" mode for the CM-RC.
When utilizing the CM-RC, refrigerant injection (RI) can now be combined with frequency inverter operation (or with the CRII system for mechanical capacity regulation) – extending the application limits of the compressor. The CM-RC allows for a very exact and demand-driven injection across a large capacity range. The same RI kit may be used for different refrigerants and compressor sizes (within one housing).
Furthermore, the CM-RC module can control an additional fan, and it monitors the compressor operation including a data log.
