Tighten screws and nuts only to the prescribed tightening torque and, if possible, crosswise in at least 2 steps.

  1. Fasten the magnet (4) to the housing. Insert the screws (5) and tighten them crosswise (tightening torque 25 Nm).
  2. Mount the Woodruff key (2).
  3. Grease the straining screw (10). Slide the rotor (6) on the shaft and magnet (4). Screw the straining screw (10) into the shaft end. Recommended tightening torque is 85 Nm, unless otherwise specified by the clutch manufacturer.
  4. Slide the pulley over the stud screws of the clutch and tighten with nuts (7) (tightening torque 25 Nm).
  5. Connect the cable (3) (independent of polarity), keeping it away from hot parts (tmax = 105°C).
Gripping or abradant pulleys will cause damage to the magnet.

You must be able to turn the pulley by hand without abrading the magnet.

Adjust the air gap accordingly!
