SAP ARIBA – INFORMATION FOR SUPPLIERS

BITZER is in the process of launching SAP Ariba and is therefore switching to paperless order transactions through the Ariba network, the world’s largest B2B marketplace. As a result, both BITZER and your company will benefit over the long term from a much simplified, automated and digitalised supply chain. This project is limited to the functions of Ariba Buying and does not currently support Ariba Invoicing or Ariba Sourcing.

In its efforts to optimise the procurement process, BITZER introduced Ariba Buying for the procurement of indirect materials in April 2021. The SAP Ariba Network is the world's largest B2B market platform, ensuring fully digital processing of order transactions with maximum efficiency and security. BITZER is pleased to work with its suppliers in the areas of operating resources, capital goods and services via the SAP Ariba Network, making the business relationship even more valuable.

HOW CAN I USE THE ARIBA NETWORK?
The Ariba network is a web-based solution. All you need to access it is an email address, an Internet connection and network registration.

STANDARD (LIGHT) ACCOUNT OR ENTERPRISE (FULL) ACCOUNT?
There are two account types to choose from. Which account type is right for your company depends on the type of business relationship and the annual number of documents. If the number of documents is limited and there’s no need to provide catalogues, the Standard Account is sufficient.
An Enterprise Account is necessary to upload catalogues and use all the functions of the Ariba network.
